Law Ball 2008
Thanks to everyone for attending what was one of the best law balls ever!! It was a fantastic night filled with great food, drinks, music and lots of dancing!!! The VULSS hopes you all had lots of fun, met new people and had a great evening. We would like to thank our sponsors in particular Clayton Utz and also Baker & McKenzie, DLA Phillips Fox, Mallesons and the VU staff for their support. Finally a big thanks to the committee for all their effort and hard work!!!

Relaunch BBQ - July
The committee has decided not to put on the Relaunch BBQ but rather focus our efforts towards hosting a great Law Ball for our members. The 2008 VULSS Law Ball - In Black and White - is shaping up to be a fantastic event.
Pizza Day & LawBall Launch - May
The Law Ball Pizza Day was not our most successful event put on this year. Our shortcommings brought about great discussion within the committee and we have planned to make it up to members with a 'Relaunch BBQ'.
O'Week BBQ - February
The 2008 academic year was kicked off at Victoria Law School with a sizzling Orientation Week Barbeque, put on by the Victoria University Law Students' Society. The BBQ was fired up for a number of hours to ensure that those hungry students, fresh into Victoria Law School, could calm their first-week nerves in a relaxed and welcoming environment. While the whole VULSS Committee pitched in to make the day great, honorable mentions must go to Thomas D'Souza's (VULSS IT Officer) young nephews who did a brilliant job ensuring every student got a hot sausage!
