Voting box in the library
Every member is entitled 1 vote, as long as they signed up as a VULSS member before 18 August 2008.
Many candidates have nominated for more than one position on the committee and you will see this on the ballot paper. You may vote the same candidate for all positions as ultimately that candidate will be elected into the position that he (she) chose as in their preference order.
For example, if Geoff nominated to be Competitions Officer as his first preference and Liaison Officer as his second preference, and he succeeded in both positions. Geoff will be awarded Competitions Officer, and the liaison officer will go to the next popular candidate.

*The position of President is only open to individuals with one year Committee experience.
**To nominate for the position of treasurer, it is recommended that the nominee have completed first year accounting and book keeping at higher education level.

secretary@vulss.org.au A booklet with descriptions and responsibilities of the various positions will be available in the library before the close of elections. The booklet will also be made available on this page.
Nominations must be received by 22 August 2008 at 5pm. This is a correction to the date printed on the nomination form! Nominations must be in writing using the prescribed form which can be downloaded here. It must specify the position for which the nomination is made, as well as be signed by two members.
